Packing

Packing for Unfolding

I'm intentionally not giving you a giant packing list. I want you to have a little fun packing intuitively.

As you start getting ready, pay attention to what you feel called to bring, both for yourself and maybe even for the others who will be there. It could be a book, cards, an oil, a crystal, an instrument, art supplies, something meaningful from home, or something you pick up and think, I have no idea why, but this needs to come.

You don't have to know exactly what you'll do with everything. We can leave a little room for that part to unfold. 💖

If you want a checklist anyway, here is a high level one :D

The fun layer

Outfits that make you feel radiant ✨There is no greater feeling than feeling beautiful.
Outfits for movementComfort is key!
A fun outfit for black light dancing
A sweater and comfortable clothes for the overnight ceremonySomething that covers your legs will be helpful too.
Single-color outfits 🌈Entirely one color. White, black, purple, red, green, gold, or whatever calls to you.
Rain gearIt's rainy season in Tulum. We will have some sun and enjoy some rain too!
One small gift 🎁For an exchange. Lean in and listen; the perfect item will ask to come with you!
Your instrument(s), if you have any that want to come along! 🪘
Whatever supports your own practiceCards, plant medicine, oils, crystals, a journal, art supplies.

The practical layer

Swimsuit, two if you can (cenotes, canals, temazcal)
Reef-safe sunscreen and bug spray (if you have great natural products, please bring them to share so we can all learn about them!)
Sandals that can get wet and are comfortable to walk in
Closed shoes for the jungle walks
Refillable water bottle
Headlamp or small flashlight for the paths at night
Cash for tips. Any amount is perfect; pesos are easiest

Two little notes

Timing and dāna

A little note about timing

I have my condo blocked from October 16–28, so please know you have a place to stay if you want to come a little early or extend your time in Tulum after we finish.

There is absolutely no expectation that you do. I just want you to know the space is there if it makes your travel easier or you feel like spending a little more time in Tulum.

And just so you know, the full moon is October 26. 🌕✨ Do with that information what you will. 😁

A little note about dāna 💖

At the end of our time together, you'll have the opportunity to offer dāna if you feel called.

Dāna is a practice of giving from a place of gratitude. There is no expected amount, and there is absolutely no obligation to give financially. Your presence, your energy, and whatever you bring to our time together are already a beautiful offering to the collective.

At the end, you may also feel called to offer something financially in gratitude for what you experienced. If you do, simply listen to what feels right for you. Whatever you feel called to give, in whatever form it takes, is perfect. 💖
